Fabulous lodge with superb hosts!

We stayed here for 3 nights before going off on our private game safari. I cannot express how much we enjoyed our stay – from our greeting on arrival, to the personal service we were given; nothing was too much trouble for Yvonne and Gerrard. The food was superb (home cooked) and great value but above all else the hospitality was second to none. We have 2 children (13 and 10) and they loved this place – They did not want to leave, which is always a good sign in my book. They still talk about Phoebe the dog now.

The rooms were beautifully decorated in animal print themes, they were clean and all the little things were catered for, shower gels, dressing gowns, packed fridges etc.

The location was brilliant and the lodge itself is located in Hoedspruit Wildlife park and on arrival Gerrard took us out in his 4X4 on a game drive. There were lots of animals to see including impala, giraffe, waterbuck, zebra etc. There are hides to sit in over looking the water holes which really add to this beautiful lodge. There was also lots to do around the surrounding area – a great location to base yourself for game drives, sightseeing and more!
